Movies I watched while I was sick.
I’ve been on the couch sick since Wednesday so I’ve had time to watch movies:
- Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride: Hunter S. Thompson on Film - A documentary on the life and death of Hunter S. Thompson.
- Rize - Rize chronicles a dance movement that rises out of South Central Los Angeles with roots in clowning and street youth culture.
- Edmond - A fortune-tellers teasing rumination sends Edmond Burke lurching into New York City’s hellish underworld.
- Jawbreaker - Three of the most popular girls at Reagan High accidentally kill the prom queen with a jaw-breaker when a kidnapping goes horribly wrong.
- Doom - Space Marines are sent to investigate strange events at a research facility on a distant planet but find themselves at the mercy of genetically enhanced killing machines.
- Caddyshack - An exclusive golf course has to deal with a brash new member and a destructive dancing gopher.
- The Rock - A mild-mannered chemist and an ex-con must lead the counterstrike when soldiers threaten a nerve gas attack from Alcatraz against San Francisco.
- Munich - Based on the true story of the Black September aftermath, about the five men chosen to eliminate the ones responsible for that fateful day.
- Caché - A married couple is terrorized by a series of videotapes planted on its front porch that may be the direct result from an event from years ago.
- Enemy of the State - A lawyer becomes a target by a corrupt politician and his NSA goons when he accidentally receives key evidence to a serious politically motivated crime.
Movies I started to watch but missed half of it because medicine made me pass out:
- Lila dit ça - Two inner-city teenagers engage in an obsessive, innocent flirtation fueled by Lila’s sexually explicit overtures.
- Darkman - A hideously scarred and mentally unstable scientist seeks revenge against the crooks who made him like that.
- The Amateur - A researcher for the CIA who convinces his superiors to send him to the eastern bloc in order to avenge the murder of his wife by enemy agents discovers a web of deception underneath his wife’s death.
Movies I started to watch but decided sucked and so I stopped watching them because Paris Hilton was in them:
- The Hillz - A promising college athlete takes a turn for the worse when he hooks up with old highschool friends during his summer break.
