Memories of my hometown.

Ah, memories of my hometown!

Repeat DUI offender arrested first as 17-year-old and — at midnight — booked and jailed as 18-year-old

MONTESANO, Grays Harbor County — An Aberdeen teen was arrested twice in one day on drunken driving charges — once as a 17-year-old and once as an 18-year-old.

Here’s how it happened.

Montesano police arrested 17-year-old driver Domingo Ramos-Garcia yesterday afternoon and took him to the Grays Harbor County Jail for a breath test. Because he was 17, he was released to his father.

Five hours later he was arrested again on Highway 12 near Montesano by the same deputy who had dealt with him earlier.

But he wasn’t booked until after midnight — after he turned 18.

As an adult, he was jailed.

Undersheriff Rick Scott says the teen also was arrested March 10th for driving under the influence.
