Speaking of Teddy Ruxpin
Walking to lunch with a co-worker I told him, “Hey, I saw in Wired they have a new Teddy Ruxpin now, plays MP3s or something like that.” He replied:
There is something nice about putting a cassette tape in a stomach.
And the answer to everyones’ question:
- Will the tapes for the 1980s Teddy Ruxpin work with the new Teddy Ruxpin?
In a word, no. The new Teddy Ruxpin is made with digital technology and uses small cartridges, the original tapes will not work with the new Teddy. Sorry!
As with any new technology, the first question I have to ask is…will its tapes play in my VCR?
