OK, that’s officially scary as hell.
The scariest moment is when the monster comes to life, and snatches the mouse without hesitation. The mouse never had a chance. I do a lot of solo distance hiking here in WA and I’m deathly afraid of cougars. If one should ever move on me, it will be much more like this than any kind of stand-off. Clutched, killed, consumed.
